Refuge ‘Hide & Seek’

Refuge is a charity who saves the lives of women and children across the UK, helping them escape domestic abuse. In 2019, they partnered with Picturehouse Cinemas, but needed a film to play before every film. This is that film… ‘Hide & Seek’ highlights the lesser known fact that 90% of domestic abuse in the family home, happens in the presence of children. By subverting the childhood game we all know and love, we present the unbearable experiences of what some children must try and cope with, day after day, after day.
